Knox Bardsleye
Knox Bardsleye III, is the current King of Lirande. A position given to him from an extremely young age, due the mysterious deaths surrounding his parents during their rule. Knox’s confident and wild personality made it hard to predict any of the young king’s actions. Attempts to subdue or manipulate the king often were in vain, due to the stubborn and strong-willed nature Knox possessed. Overtime, Knox grew into his role as King and now sits comfortably as a member of the Elder Council.
As an only child, many are interested in the King’s future. The king is currently unmarried and has no potential offspring to replace him if he should die. What were to happen to his seat on the Elder Council if there is no one to replace him? Will someone come after him like those who came for his parents?
Background
Being in the constant spotlight as a young prince, all the moves that Knox made were debated and contested, even down to the toys he picked. Early on, his father gave Knox advice on how best to maintain a personal life despite the persistent gossipers at court. Advice, that would become instrumental in Knox’s personality, as not only did it help him prepare for political woes of court, but also because it ended up being one of the last things his father would teach him. As an only child, Knox’s life after his parent’s death was unpredictable. Strong-headed and strong-willed, many elite officials attempted to manipulate Knox to do their bidding. However, time and time again, Knox saw through the attempts and would prove to the court why he is the heir to the throne.
Personality
Knox is stubborn and confident in his actions. He knows the weight of his roles and the responsibilities he holds. Growing up with a royal education and receiving proper knight training made Knox a formidable opponent on the battlefield and politically. However, he can act unpredictably and throw people off their guard! Knox seems to long for more in his life, but no one can seem to pin down what exactly he is pining after.
